The huge efforts of humans to construct the station and carry out terraforming project involve the
responsibility to protect them.
The Earth’s governments have invested huge sums of money in this project. They insist on complete safety
in the execution of scientific experiments and save usage of expensive materials transported from Earth.
Once the station begins to function and the terraforming project starts, security center takes measures
to prevent the project from destruction.
The security officers have initially responsibilities to stop criminal acts. The possible groups of
terrorists could damage the station and cause regress in the population. The authority cannot be
absolutely sure in the safety although the staff is strictly chosen to keep order and discipline on the
station. So these officers have their own base in which they train. They keep track of the movement inside
and outside the station and in case of alert react quickly.
In the long period of human settlement and carrying out the transformation experiments the colony on Mars will grow up
and the transport exchange with Earth will increase. New technologies and spaceships will make the travel
between planets easier. This phenomenon will bring about hostile groups transporting weapons and sending
people to destroy the station. Once this happens the station will be dangerous place. That’s why the colony
needs air defense and martial center.
The people – scientists, workers, technical staff and the project got protection assured by the security center.
