Just think what people will achieve if they really desire to
find out new dimensions and reach shrouded in mystery places. I
believe that humans will settle first our system and after that maybe
and further locations. It will be realized with construction of space
stations, which will be used as transport points for our ships.
Otherwise the Earth will be overcrowded and these stations will be
suitable places
for living and working if they are provided with comfortable
facilities. My suggestion is for station, constructed on a planet.
In short - the ship-pad and airport are located in the
center of the station. Near them is the navigation
centers. The administrative buildings are high and various. The post,
research lab, command center and others are placed in the
administrative part. Buildings for living are under coupon and the
environment there is similar to Earth’s. The refinery is in the
station, the other mining structures are spread over the planet. Solar
panels are used for producing energy. With initial quantity oxygen
flora will be created in huge greenhouses. This flora evolves enough
oxygen for people and produces enough food too. At last the conditions
of the planet are very important, but Mars is suitable.
